What is the connector?

OnixDesk plugs into OpenClaw through a secure connector built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard way for AI assistants to use your shop software with your permission. You can disconnect anytime.

Step by step

Connect OpenClaw in four steps

Setup details in OpenClaw change from time to time. If a label looks different, use the closest match.

  1. Log in to OnixDesk and copy your connector details from Settings.

  2. Add OnixDesk as an MCP server in your OpenClaw config using those details.

  3. Authorize OnixDesk.

  4. Try a prompt.

OpenClaw runs on your own machine; the AI model it uses may need a paid account with that model's provider. Alex, the assistant built into OnixDesk, needs no other AI account.

Things you can say

“Text Maria that her Civic is ready for pickup.”
“Which invoices are unpaid for more than 30 days?”
“Find the key blank for a 2018 Ford F-150 and check if we have it in stock.”
“Turn estimate 1042 into a work order and assign it to Mike.”

Does OpenClaw see all my data?

OpenClaw works through the OnixDesk connector with your permission, and only while it's connected. You can disconnect it at any time.

Can OpenClaw do something I didn't ask for?

How do I disconnect OpenClaw?

Remove the OnixDesk connector in OpenClaw, or revoke its access from OnixDesk.
